Half an hour free parking in front of the shop and a large car park behind the shop, which is free all day.

THE SHOP IS OPEN 6 DAYS. MONDAY- SATURDAY 9.30am-1.30pm.

Buses 56,57,58,59,87,88,89,89c are available from Parliament Street, Nottingham.

SOUTH NOTTINGHAM COLLEGE COURSES ARE HELD AT THE FOLLOWING TIMES.

Evening classes are 6.30pm-9.30pm

Morning classes are 9.30am-1.30pm

Afternoon classes are 2pm-6pm..

Private  classes are variety of times.

The classes are priced as listed and payment is required in full at time of booking

Bus Trip to Harrogate Knitting and Stitching Show.
 

Sunday 27th November 2011. £26 per person. This includes the bus and entrance fee to the show.

This year we are only taking one bus to the event so please book as soon as you can. In order to secure your place please pay at time of booking as places are limited.  Cash or cheques can be made payable to Karen Taylor and handed in at The Textile Workshop 678 Mansfield Road, Sherwood , Nottingham, NG5 2GE .  These short courses are targeted at beginner’s level for those learners wanting to try something new.

Tuition is free for those in receipt of the following means tested benefits:

Job Seekers Allowance (income based) 

Council Tax/Housing BenefitWorking Tax Credit of £15,276 or less

Pension guaranteed credit

Employment Support Allowance (income based).

Income Support Important:

You should bring evidence dated within the last 3 months of your benefit when you enrol.  If you do not receive any of these benefits, you pay the fee listed 

Course fees for courses marked “NCFE” level 1   These longer course provide a nationally recognised qualification and learners build a portfolio of work during the course. Tuition fees and NCFE registration fees are FREE for those in receipt of the following benefits:Job Seekers Allowance (contributions or income based) Employment Support Allowance (contributions or income based)

 Working Tax Credits Pension Credit,               

 Housing Benefit ,

Council Tax Benefit 

 If you do not receive any of these benefits, you pay the fee and registration listed. 

Important: IMPORTANT:

1) You must bring proof of benefit when you enrol. Enrolments cannot be accepted without benefits evidence.

 2)if you are on the benefits listed, in order to get a FREE course , you should sign a declaration form at enrolment, to confirm you intend to use your qualifications to seek employment. 

 FULL LEVEL NCFE2 ENTERPRISE SKILLS/CRAFT CLASSES.

 Courses marked NCFE Level 2 are mainly aimed at learners who have not yet achieved a full level 2 qualification. There are 2 ways to be eligible for fee remission:

 1)Tuition fees ONLY are FREE to learners, who can confirm that they have NOT previously achieved any qualification above 5 GCSEs. You will be asked to record your highest level of achievement on your enrolment form. You will still pay the NCFE registration fee of £48

 2)Tuition fees AND NCFE registration fee is free for those in receipt the following:Job Seekers Allowance Employment Support Allowance                    Council Tax/Housing BenefitWorking Tax Credit of £15,276 or lessPension guaranteed creditEmployment Support Allowance (income based).Income Support Important: Evidence of benefit must be shown at enrolment Please note: Learners with higher level qualifications (A-levels, first degree) are not eligible to enrol for free, but are welcome to enrol and pay the full fee listed.  

 FREE tuition fees for those NOT in receipt of benefits

 LEVEL 1 NCFE courses:Tuition on ONE course per year is FREE to all learners who have NOT previously achieved any qualification above 5 GCSEs and show an intention to progress onto a level 2 course. You will be asked to sign a declaration of progression to Level 2 on your enrolment form. You will still pay the £34 NCFE registration fee.
